Much More Men Shopping


Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The results of trend studies conducted Nielsen shoppers during December 2010 to January 2011 showed that men who took the role as the primary shoppers more, although women continue to dominate the role.

"One of the four main shoppers are male, most productive age between 25 to 49 years. The percentage of men as the primary shoppers is higher than in previous years, "said Associate Director of Retailer Services Febby Ramaun Nielsen on Tuesday.

According to Nielsen data, in 2010 male shoppers are still 19 percent of all primary shoppers and only 17 percent the previous year.
